Karamanos studios are located in Ilion, Attiki, an area which is very close to the city center of Athens and easily accessible by any means of transportation. They have eight fully equipped stages which are suitable for any project.

Panagiotis Karamanos, inspirer and founder of KARAMANOS TV Studios was originally involved in the cinema and television industry in the 1980s. Initially, he held the monopoly of lighting equipment in Greece for many years as a filmmaker, an operator of a generator and an electrician having a wide range of professional lights in his possession.

In 1994 he made the leap forward and his first six television and film stages became a reality. Innovative for their time and especially for Greek reality, they brought about a change and the development of the Greek cinema and television. After years of thorough study, they were constructed in accordance with international standards followed by major film industries such as America and France. They are high with huge open spaces, bars, Dimmer, plenty of dressing rooms, a canteen, a swimming pool and whatever may be necessary for any production. In addition to the building infrastructure, KARAMANOS Studios was the first and only company to be able to meet any cinematic or television needs in terms of equipment. In addition to lights, studio cameras and controls, there are ledwalls, triangles, jimmy jeeps and many more.

Today the company is also pioneering in another area of cinema and advertising. It has Arri Film cameras such as 435, 535 and generally all Arri models available since the 90s, framing the rental of the company which is located in its own premises, tailor-made for the preparation of films or commercials.

Additionally , P. Karamanos SA has two more large, 900-square meter-wide stages, with a height of 12 meters apart from the original six stages. It continues to feature Arri Alexa cinema cameras while maintaining film models such as the Arricam LT or s3 16, equipped at the same time with the latest models such as the Arri Alexa LF mini, the “Signature” lenses and more. It goes without saying that a company that started with lighting equipment also has state-of-the-art (the latest generation of)lights such as the Arri Skypannels and the Arri M series, with all its models available in abundance so as to meet the needs of any production.
